A Broader Spectrum Therapy Center
Are you struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues or major life changes? There comes a time when we could all use some help to cope with many of life’s challenges. I’m a licensed Cognitive Behavior Therapist and I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.Since opening the doors of my private practice in 2011, I have provided clients in the Bucks County area with a wide range of psychological services. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through any obstacles you may be facing. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with change. My clinical approach is highly eclectic and client-center based. I use a basis of mindfulness based cognitive therapy to help individuals understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behavior and the coping mechanisms to bring an overall sense of peace and acceptance.
I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, I received a secondary Guidance Certification from Villanova University. I am a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and have worked in a broad range of settings for over 25 years.
I believe that the best clinical practice is an evidence-formed, eclectic model whereby the therapist adjusts to the needs of the client. I strive to provide clients with an opportunity to explore their inner selves, their relationships with others and their innate striving for wholeness, creativity, and well-being. Therapy can increase overall sense of well-being, build stronger coping and problem-solving skills, strengthen one's resiliency and determination, change behavior, and build stronger interpersonal relationships.
The establishment of a trusting relationship between the client and therapist is of utmost importance to be able to work together to build a skill set to adapt and overcome life's most difficult challenges in order to create a fulfilling life. Regardless of a client's clinical needs, it is imperative to determine their support system and focus on the encouraging aspects of those relationships in helping the client become more resilient and set on a positive path in life.
Currently, I am conducting both in person as well as Telehealth Sessions. For Couples Therapy, it is ideal to conduct at least the initial session in-person whenever possible. Since 2002, I have provided clients of all ages in the Bucks County, Pa area a wide range of psychological and counseling services to suit their needs. Since embarking into the Telehealth realm, I have also been providing virtual services in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as Texas, Virginia and Florida. Whether you’re an individual or a couple, my therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence, acquire and maintain effective coping mechanisms, and assist you in the healing process to living a purposeful and fulfilling life.
